MEET ROENEL

First off, I am thankful that you are here! Welcome to my little corner office on the internet.

I have been capturing moments through photos and videos as a part-time freelancer for the past four years. In October of 2021 I decided it was time to pursue my career as a full-time photographer.

Here is why: I LOVE photography! I have been behind a camera for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was using my family’s polaroid camera or the canon point-and-shoot film cameras. The idea that I could capture a moment and have it preserved in a photograph was just amazing to me!

While I took some courses in high school and in college, my education really started when I picked up my first SLR camera in 2012. I’ve been a self-taught student since then, ever perfecting my passion.

Photography is more than just taking a high-quality photo. Photography is art. It evokes feelings and emotions, and brings back precious memories. As the artist capturing those moments, my desire is just that! Through the photos’ composition, lighting, framing, and color, it will bring back memories and evoke the same feelings and emotions you had on the day that those photos were taken.
